Choice #3-
As the shuttle blasts off, everyone is frozen in their tracks watching as the shuttle goes zooming into space. This is not just any other mission- a kid is going into space. If the day comes when NASA decides that it is A-Ok to send a student into space and they start looking at applications, I would definitely not be first in line. For me, the risk is too great to want to go into space. Anything can happen while up there, whether it's while traveling up to the ISS, or if the ISS breaks apart or something. It would be extremely nerve racking when you realize that there is problem such as the main cabin in the ISS is breaking off and you have only 2 min to fix it before you go floating into space. I work well under pressure, but I am not exactly sure about how well I work when I realize that the chance that I am not going to survive is very high. I am not willing to take that risk until there is a higher guarantee that everything will go along with the original plan. The food also does not sound appetizing. Mostly everything is dehydrated and that would get gross and annoying after a while. Space is an awe-inspiring place filled to the brim with wonders, but I prefer to study it on the ground with gravity holding me to Earth.

Choice #4-
If I did decide to go up into space, the main items I would take with me would be family mementos. I would bring up pictures of my family and friends so I can remember them and think of home. I would also bring up books to pass the time and a journal to write down my thoughts and what I am working on while floating two hundred and fifty miles above my home. Something personal and a "bit of home" that I would take up would be a stuffed cow that I have had since I was younger than one. All of these items could help me feel a little more at home floating up in space. With only a fraction of space explored, there is a lot of work that those astronauts need to be doing up there, while I shall be making my contribution from down here, on Earth, safe with gravity holding me down.
